Asphalt – The finishing touch to the Secret Harbour Shopping Centre

We recently installed a new asphalt carpark for the extensions to the New Woolworths store at Secret Harbour Shopping Centre.
The works to the area was extensive and included the site clearance of vacant land, removal and disposal of existing carparks, stormwater, landscaping bulk excavation and disposal of 15,000m3 of surplus spoil. Final trim for pad preparation. Demolition of shopping centre facades to make way for the new entrances to the shopping centre. All of which was carried out by MGC Civil and Pindan, Merger Contracting partnered to assist with the Asphalt component of the project. There was an upgrade to the 8,000m2 of asphalt carpark that was already in place and a further 17000m2 of new asphalt carparks that needed to be seamlessly joined to the old car parks.
